ISO14001

We are proud to be one of only a small number of printers to be accredited with ISO 14001, which recognises our long-standing dedication to environmental protection and responsible business practices. Our success in controlling the negative environmental impacts of our business, and continued improvements in minimising these has been ensured by the commitment and hard work from all areas of The Lavenham Press.

We seek to use sustainable and renewable resources at all times, using only vegetable oil based inks, and recycling all waste paper. We also recycle our aluminium plates, blankets, plastic packaging, empty containers, ink tins and chemistry material. Over the years we have been recycling increased quantities of all these materials, as well as striving to reduce the amount of waste actually produced. For instance we have succeeded in lowering levels of waste paper by more than two-thirds since last year.
